Project Rishi and Phi Delta Epsilon 5k Charitable Run

Come out on November 21st, 2015 at 8am to the first ever Project Rishi and Phi Delta Epsilon 5k Charitable Run! Enjoy a day full of exercise and fun with raffles, games, and activities! The proceeds of this run will go towards projects to help children in leprosy and deaf colonies in rural India, so please bring all your friends and family!

About Project Rishi.

Project RISHI (Rural India Social & Health Improvement) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization consisting of undergraduates, graduate students, professors, and doctors from the University of California at Berkeley, Davis, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Our aim is to provide sustainable solutions for the basic healthcare, infrastructural and educational needs of rural Indian villages. In partnership with local community members and social enterprises, we identify issues central to our target communities and provide the resources necessary to implement solutions through extensive field research and on-campus initiatives.

We run a health campus educating children in India about Hygiene, Nutrition, and First Aid
We provide Age Specific Sexual Health Seminars that also include Bystander Intervention and Support Systems for victims of sexual abuse
We work on a variety of health-related projects each year such as Building Water Purification Systems, and Changing Social Perspectives on the Blind, Deaf, and those suffering from Leprosy

If you choose to Venmo Project Rishi, please format your note as such: 5k Run, Your Name, Board Member Reference (if applicable). Or if you would like to reigster a group of 10 or more it will be $12 per person which you can pay for below or using Venmo. When registering a group please list the full names of the members of your group seperated by commas and include a board reference (if applicable).
