Fundraising Opportunities
During the school year, we raise money through a variety of on-campus and off-campus fundraisers. These fundraisers help us buy supplies for and fund our projects in India.
On-Campus
On-campus fundraisers are held mainly at UCSD's Library Walk about three times a quarter. We set up henna services and sell discount cards, samosas, chai, lassi, hand-made gretting cards, wristbands, and t-shirts. Restaurants at UCSD's Price Center also offer fundraising opportunities, donating 15-20% of sales from a scheduled fundraising event to our organization.
Off-Campus
We set up booths at local community centers and events such as Sangam Culture Show. We also work with local Project RISHI interest groups at Westview High School and Torrey Pines High School to cohost events and volunteer with.
Private Sponsorship
The easiest way for sponsors to help us is through the form of monetary donations. The generous donations from sponsors help us finance our projects in India.
